Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer

People often forget just how over the top this film was when it was released just over twenty years ago.......in a lot of ways it's like PSYCHO...it wasn't graphic violence people were upset about, it was the way the movie presented murder in such a matter of fact straight forward fashion. HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER does just that and is based on the life of Henry Lee Lucas. This marks the big screen debut of Michael Rooker and I have to admit I am still surprised he was able to build a career after this gnarly number. Definately not for the faint of heart this film is a cold as they come and might be the closest you'll ever come to getting into the simple mind of a killing machine.
